The Indonesian Society of Dermatology and Venereology (hereafter "PERDOSKI") respects the privacy of visitors and members who use this site. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data.
Effective date: 28 May 2026.
1. Data Controller
PERDOSKI acts as the data controller for personal information collected through this site. Questions about this policy may be submitted via the Contact Us form or addressed to the official PERDOSKI secretariat.
2. Data We Collect
The data we process originates from the following interactions:
- Member data — name, degree, STR number, branch, study group, board position, and membership status, sourced from the PERDOSKI P2KB system.
- Contact form data — the name, email address, subject, and message you submit via the Contact Us page.
- E-consultation data — non-emergency medical questions sent to volunteer PERDOSKI physicians, along with reply contact details.
- Technical data — IP address, device type, browser, pages visited, and timestamps, collected automatically for security and analytics.
- Preferences — language, theme, and cookie consent stored on your device.
3. How We Use Data
- To manage and display membership, branch board, and study group information.
- To operate the Doctor Finder so the public can locate appropriate dermatologists.
- To facilitate e-consultations between the public and PERDOSKI member physicians.
- To send official organisational communications, scientific event invitations, and P2KB information.
- To improve the site through aggregated, non-identifying usage analytics.
- To meet legal and professional ethical obligations applicable in Indonesia.
4. Data Sharing
PERDOSKI does not sell your personal data. Sharing is limited to:
- The P2KB system — membership data integration is performed through secure mechanisms and only to the necessary extent.
- Technical service providers — hosting, email, and analytics providers bound by confidentiality agreements.
- Legal obligations — when required by competent authorities under applicable law.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
This site uses cookies to remember language preference, login state, and privacy consent. You may disable cookies via your browser settings, though some features (such as the member area) may not function optimally.
6. User Rights
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data (member data is editable in the P2KB system).
- Request deletion, except for data we must retain by law or professional ethics.
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
Requests may be submitted via the Contact Us form, stating the type of request.
7. Data Retention
Member data is retained while the individual remains a PERDOSKI member. Contact form and e-consultation data is retained up to 3 (three) years for audit purposes. Technical logs are retained up to 12 months.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures — transport encryption (HTTPS), role-based access control, and internal audit logging — to protect data from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.
9. Third-Party Links
This site may contain links to external sites such as P2KB, scientific journals, or PERDOSKI social media. External sites' privacy policies are outside PERDOSKI's responsibility.
10. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated periodically to reflect service or regulatory changes. The effective date above will be updated on each revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the latest policy.
