The Indonesian College of Dermatology and Venereology is an autonomous body under PERDOSKI responsible for standardising the education, competence, and professionalism of dermatovenereology specialists (Sp.D.V.E.) in Indonesia.

Mandate

The College carries out the following duties under law and medical professional ethics:

  • Develop and update the education standard for the dermatovenereology specialty programme.
  • Set competency standards for specialists nationwide.
  • Recommend the accreditation of specialist training institutions.
  • Develop the national curriculum in cooperation with universities and professional bodies.
  • Conduct the national competence examination as a graduation requirement.
  • Uphold professional ethics among specialists in practice.

Organisation

The College is led by a Chair and supported by:

  • Advisory Council — provides strategic and ethical guidance to the board.
  • Continuing Professional Development Verification Board (BVPKB) — verifies members' continuing education credits.
  • Accreditation Commission — assesses educational institutions against standards.
  • National Examination Commission — runs the national competence examination.
  • Curriculum Development Commission — drafts curriculum and training modules.
  • Secretariat — supports daily operations.

Current Term

The current College board term is 2024–2027, elected at the PERDOSKI national congress.

Accredited Training Institutions

Specialist programmes in dermatology and venereology are offered by leading medical schools across Indonesia. The current list and accreditation status can be confirmed with the College Secretariat.
